Our pirate is not scary, he's funny and silly. He arrives at your party, a captain without a ship. According to Captain Sharpo, a great big sea monster - all green and scaley and 50 feet tall with red eyes and flaring nostrils and bad breath - caused the Jolly Roger to wreck. So the Captain needs a new crew. Maybe the birthday boy will be the first mate? Who will be the look out? Who's second mate? Who's up on the poop deck? Once the crew is assembled, the captain makes everyone take the pirate pledge of honor. Then he shows them secret magic from the islands of wonder. After the magic show, He leads the kids on a treasure hunt around your yard, from clue to clue - until at last the treasure is found! Everyone gets to share in the loot. The Pirate captain then celebrates with the kids by using the ship's sail (Parachute) to play some non - competitive party games and then make balloon swords and pirate hats for everyone. He will sometimes do face painting as time and conditions permit. Finally everyone sings the birthday song around the cake and poses for pictures.
