What is the future of live interactive entertainment? Nora and I are proud to be have been called innovators and authorities in this genre. We are among the first to incorporate multi media via mobile web technology into our shows. Players can get on their Iphones and get clues and cues before and during the mystery at Twitter/Sharpo, Facebook/Sharpo. They can also view longer exposition on some shows at MurderMystery.Mobi. For one client, we created video clues on You Tube and produced one segment per month for several months leading up to the event. participants got to play mystery with us for a year long adventure. That might be a first in this genre. We are now using Skype for live multi media enhancements to productions and we have embedded video clues in power point presentations in our corporate murder mystery events as well. I think the future will be even more of this. Eventually, the video game will merge completely with this form of theater and the "Holodeck" as envisioned on Star Trek will be born. That day is probably coming sooner than later. The future is very exciting. Everyone will get a chance to step into all sorts of adventures. The graphics will be amazing and indistinguishable from the real world. I dare say that as exciting as this sounds and as enticing this fantasy future sounds, it doesn't bode well for live entertainers and producers of live interactive entertainment where imagination thrives.
